Starting My New Year Early: The Official (Public) Kickoff of My Unruly Reinvention

It’s December 1st, and this year I’m choosing to start my new year early. For the last 12 months, I’ve been on a quiet reinvention journey; unlearning, relearning, growing, and navigating one of the most transformational seasons of my life. But today marks something different: the official kickoff of me sharing this journey with the world.

Last year, around this time, my girlfriend flew in from Jersey, and we had a whole strategy session for the “I Am Candice Elizabeth” brand. We built vision boards, ideas, content plans — all the things. But between work, life, and my own overthinking, I never truly launched it.

And if I’m honest? I spent a lot of time researching, perfecting, and asking for opinions… sometimes even from people who were still figuring out their own lives. That cycle kept me from showing up.

But today, I’m choosing boldness. I’m choosing obedience. And I’m choosing to show up exactly as the woman God created me to be.

The mom.

The wife.

The woman in career transition.

The woman stretching back into her toolkit, my knowledge, experience, credentials, and faith.

The woman committed to an unruly, unapologetic reinvention.
